Teachers can create quiz rooms for their classes directly from the app. Here's how to get started.
Open the 25schools app → go to Live Quiz → tap Host Quiz. Choose the subject, grade, number of questions, and time per question. Questions are drawn automatically from the school's published assessments or you can write your own custom questions.
Once the room is created you'll get a 6-character PIN code (e.g. T5LLAM).
Share it with your class — students enter the PIN to join. You can also tap
Invite Students to search by name and send push notifications directly to their phones.
As students join, you'll see them in the waiting room. Approve who you want to participate, then tap Start Quiz. Questions appear for everyone at the same time — students answer on their own devices within the time limit.
After the quiz, you'll see the full leaderboard with scores, correct answers, and response times. Use the Host Analytics screen to track how many quizzes you've run, which subjects are most popular, and how students are performing over time.
Don't want to use the existing question bank? When creating a quiz room, choose "Custom" as the question source. You can type your own multiple-choice and true/false questions, assign topics, and set the academic level (Primary, Secondary, or Tertiary). Custom questions are saved to your personal question bank so you can reuse them in future quizzes.

Your teacher will give you a PIN code. Open the app → Live Quiz → Join Room → enter the PIN. Wait for the teacher to approve you and start the quiz.
Go to any student's profile and tap Challenge. Pick the subject, number of questions, and send it. If they accept, the battle starts automatically.
You don't need to sign up — every challenge match you play automatically counts toward active tournaments. Check the Tournaments screen to see your progress, standings, and which rewards you're in the running for.
Complete daily challenges like "Win 2 battles" or "Get 20 correct answers" to earn power-ups. Use 50/50 to eliminate wrong answers or Double Points for an extra boost in challenge matches.
