Electoral Systems and Processes
Q: All electoral systems require the same voting procedures and ballot designs.
Did You Know?
False. Judges in Zambia enjoy security of tenure and cannot be easily removed. The Constitution provides that judges can only be removed for incompetence or misconduct through a rigorous process involving a tribunal investigation and parliamentary approval. This protection ensures judicial independence by insulating judges from political pressure and allowing them to make decisions based on law rather than fear of removal.
