Linear Equations in Two Variables (G11)

question 1 of 10 Grade: Eleven - G11

Q: Two lines with slopes m₁ and m₂ are perpendicular if m₁ × m₂ = -1

Did You Know?

TRUE. When the digit to be rounded is exactly 5 (right in the middle), different rounding conventions exist. The most common rule taught in Zambian schools and used in ECZ exams is 'round half up,' which means when you have exactly .5, you round UP to the next whole number. So 7.5 rounds up to 8. Other numbers following this rule: 2.5 → 3, 10.5 → 11, 99.5 → 100. Note: In some advanced mathematics, there's also 'round half to even' (banker's rounding), but ECZ uses the simpler 'round half up' convention. Always round .5 UP in your ECZ examinations.
