\(\tanθ + \cotθ = \frac{\sinθ}{\cosθ} + \frac{\cosθ}{\sinθ} = \frac{\sin^2θ + \cos^2θ}{\sinθ\cosθ} = \frac{1}{\sinθ\cosθ}\). Dividing by \(\secθ = \frac{1}{\cosθ}\) gives \(\frac{1}{\sinθ\cosθ} \times \cosθ = \frac{1}{\sinθ} = \cscθ\)
