Capital Structure and Financing Decisions
Q: What does the Debt-to-Equity (D/E) ratio measure in capital structure evaluation?
Did You Know?
A model is linear in the parameters if the parameters (β) appear as multiplicative coefficients on the variables, with no exponents or interactions between parameters themselves. The variables can be transformed (like squared or logged), but the relationship in the parameters must be additive and of first order. This ensures the model can be estimated using ordinary least squares.
