Ischaemic Heart Disease
Q: What is the main function of the 'coronary arteries'?
Did You Know?
This statement is false. It confuses two similar but distinct entities: an epididymal cyst and a spermatocele. An epididymal cyst is a benign, fluid-filled sac that can occur anywhere along the epididymis. It is typically filled with a clear, watery fluid and does not contain sperm. In contrast, a spermatocele is a specific type of cyst that arises from the epididymal tubules and contains a milky or cloudy fluid that often includes dead spermatozoa. While both are benign, painless cystic structures that transilluminate, their content differs. Clinically, the distinction is often not critical as both are managed similarly (observation unless large and symptomatic). However, a true spermatocele, by definition, contains sperm, while a simple epididymal cyst does not.
