Q: ______ is getting things done through others and with the available resources.
Did You Know?
Prolonged bed rest or immobility significantly reduces the body's demand for oxygen and slows overall circulation. In response, the heart rate can decrease, a condition known as bradycardia. More importantly, the heart muscle itself can weaken from lack of consistent workload, leading to decreased cardiac output. This deconditioning means the heart becomes less efficient at pumping blood, which can result in orthostatic hypotension (a sudden drop in blood pressure upon standing), dizziness, and increased fatigue, further complicating recovery and mobility.
