Algebra

This topic introduces learners to algebraic expressions and their application in different life contexts. Students will learn to construct algebraic expressions from word statements and relate letters to numbers (terms). This foundational skill is critical for formulating and solving equations, which is a major component of the Zambian secondary mathematics curriculum. Developing competence in algebra enhances problem-solving abilities and logical reasoning, preparing learners for more advanced topics in subsequent forms and for success in ECZ examinations where algebra is extensively tested.
