Coordination and Response
This unit explores how organisms detect and respond to changes in their environment. Students will study tropisms in plants and taxic responses in invertebrates. This introduces the biological concepts of stimulus and response, which are foundational for understanding more complex nervous and endocrine systems in animals and hormonal control in plants in later forms. It is important for ECZ questions on animal and plant behaviour and adaptation.

Outcomes
If you passWell done! You understand how plants and animals coordinate simple responses to their environment.
If you don't pass yetCoordination is about sensing and reacting. Review plant tropisms and animal taxis with examples, then try the quiz again.
