Did You Know?
To find inverse, set y = f(x): y = (3x - 5)/2. Swap x and y: x = (3y - 5)/2. Solve for y: 2x = 3y - 5, 3y = 2x + 5, y = (2x + 5)/3. So \(f^{-1}(x) = \frac{2x+5}{3}\).
