Using the quadratic formula \(x = \frac{-b \pm \sqrt{b^2 - 4ac}}{2a}\) with \(a = 3\), \(b = -7\), \(c = 2\): First, discriminant \(D = (-7)^2 - 4(3)(2) = 49 - 24 = 25\). Then \(x = \frac{7 \pm \sqrt{25}}{2 \times 3} = \frac{7 \pm 5}{6}\). So \(x = \frac{7 + 5}{6} = \frac{12}{6} = 2\) or \(x = \frac{7 - 5}{6} = \frac{2}{6} = \frac{1}{3}\).
