Levels of Classification
Learners will classify various types of plants and animals found in the local environment, from chlorophytes to angiosperms and mammals to protozoa. They will formulate and use dichotomous keys to identify organisms up to species level. This topic builds systematic thinking and practical identification skills, which are assessed in ECZ exams and School-Based Assessments. It deepens understanding of Zambia's biodiversity and supports the CBC's goal of fostering scientific inquiry and appreciation for local flora and fauna.
