(i) Reflection is the bouncing back of light from a surface. (ii) Laws: (1) Angle of incidence equals angle of reflection. (2) Incident ray, reflected ray, and normal lie in the same plane. (b)(i) Angle of incidence = 90° - 40° = 50°. (ii) The ray reflects from AB, travels to CD, and reflects from CD. (iii) Angle of reflection on AB = 50°. Angle of incidence on CD = 40°.
