Vectors

This topic introduces vectors as quantities with both magnitude and direction, applicable in physics, engineering, and navigation. Learners will find position vectors, add and subtract vectors, multiply by scalars, find magnitudes and unit vectors, and use the scalar (dot) product to find angles between vectors. They will solve vector equations of lines, determine collinearity and parallelism, and apply ratio and midpoint theorems in vector geometry. Mastery of vectors is essential for understanding forces, velocities, and displacements, and is a crucial topic for the ECZ O-Level mathematics examination and further studies in STEM fields.
