Follicular dendritic cells (FDCs) are not antigen-presenting cells to T cells. Instead, they reside in the B cell follicles of secondary lymphoid tissues. They trap and retain intact antigen-antibody complexes on their surface for long periods, displaying them to B cells. This is crucial for B cell activation, affinity maturation, and the maintenance of memory B cells.
