Q: What is the name of the structure that filters blood in the kidney?

Did You Know?

Thawed plasma is Fresh Frozen Plasma (FFP) that has been thawed and stored at 1-6°C. While levels of the most labile factors (V and VIII) decrease, it retains other coagulation factors and can be used for indications like warfarin reversal or in patients with other factor deficiencies when FFP is not immediately available. Its extended shelf life (up to 5 days) reduces waste.
