The superior colliculus is part of the midbrain tectum. At its level, you find the red nucleus, Edinger-Westphal nucleus, and pretectal area. The medial geniculate bodies are part of the thalamus (diencephalon) and are located posteriorly, but are not considered structures 'at the level of' the superior colliculus within the midbrain itself.
