Three-dimensional cell clusters with vacuolated cytoplasm is a characteristic feature of adenocarcinoma cells in urine cytology. These clusters often show a glandular or acinar arrangement, with cells displaying cytoplasmic vacuoles that may contain mucin. The nuclei are typically round to oval, eccentrically placed, with fine chromatin and prominent nucleoli. Adenocarcinoma of the urinary tract is less common than urothelial carcinoma and may represent primary bladder adenocarcinoma, metastasis, or extension from adjacent organs like colon, prostate, or endometrium.
