This topic provides Zambian tertiary students with a comprehensive overview of global health, examining the patterns, determinants, and responses to health issues that transcend national boundaries. Designed for diploma, degree, and postgraduate learners in public health, medicine, and health sciences, it explores the interconnectedness of health, development, and equity on a worldwide scale. Students will analyze major global health challenges such as infectious disease pandemics, maternal and child mortality, non-communicable diseases, and the health impacts of climate change, with specific reference to Zambia's position within the global health landscape.
