District performance reports for DEBS offices

See pass and distinction rates for every school in your district, rank schools and subjects, follow monthly trends and export reports.

A District Education Board Secretary needs to know which schools are thriving and which need support, without waiting months for figures to be collected by hand. 25schools gives DEBS offices a live view of learner performance across every school in the district that uses it.

What the district report shows

  • Headline figures: marked scripts, the average score, the pass rate and the distinction rate (80% and above).
  • Schools ranked by average score, with how many scripts each has marked and the share that passed.
  • Subjects and grades, each with average and pass rate.
  • Monthly trends over the last six months.
  • The list of schools in the district.

Filter and export

Narrow the report by school, grade, subject and date range. Export it as an Excel workbook, a PDF, a CSV spreadsheet, PowerPoint slides or JSON data, ready for a meeting or a submission to the province.

How to use it

  1. Open the district report.
  2. Look at the schools at the bottom of the ranking and the subjects with the lowest pass rates.
  3. Filter to a single school or subject to see the detail.
  4. Plan visits and support where they are needed, and follow the monthly trend to see the effect.

Why it helps

Support works best when it arrives early and goes where it is needed. Up-to-date figures by school and subject let a district office target visits, in-service training and resources with confidence, instead of relying on last year’s exam results.

The figures come from the assessments schools run on 25schools; heads see their own detail in school performance reports. See also provincial reports and national reports.
