Think you know Biology better than your best friend? Prove it. In the 25schools app you can challenge any learner at your level to a one-on-one quiz battle on the subject of your choice.
How a challenge works
- Open a learner’s profile in the app and tap Challenge.
- Pick the subject and how many questions you want.
- When they accept, the battle starts. You both answer the same questions against the clock.
- The winner gains rating points; the loser drops a few.
No friend online? Find a match and the app pairs you with another learner looking for a battle.
Fair matches
You only play learners at your own level: primary against primary, secondary against secondary, college against college. Your level comes from your account, so nobody can drop down a level to win easy points.
Earn your rank
Every player starts at Bronze with 100 rating points. Win battles to climb:
- Bronze: 0 to 149 points, where everyone starts.
- Silver: 150 to 299 points.
- Gold: 300 to 499 points.
- Elite: 500 points and above.
Why it helps
A challenge gives you a reason to revise a subject tonight rather than next week. Answering under a little pressure is also good practice for the exam room, and losing a battle shows you exactly which questions to go back to.
Every battle counts
Each challenge you play counts automatically towards the weekly cups and monthly leagues. Daily quests earn you power-ups to use in battle, and parents can watch live.
