Good notes turn a heavy textbook chapter into something you can revise in one sitting. The 25schools notes library collects notes written by Zambian teachers and lecturers, organised by subject and free to read.
What you get
- Notes by people who teach the subject, written for the Zambian syllabus.
- Organised by subject, so you find the topic you need without searching through files.
- A text preview on the page for many notes, so you can start reading straight away.
- Free downloads to keep on your phone for revision without data.
How to use notes well
- Find the subject and topic your class is on.
- Read the notes once, then close them and write down everything you remember.
- Check what you missed, then test yourself with the quizzes for the same topic.
- Come back to the notes only for the questions you got wrong.
Why it helps
Reading alone feels productive but fades quickly. Reading, then recalling, then testing is what makes a topic stick. Pairing the notes with quizzes on the same topic gives you all three in a few minutes, and your scores show when you are ready to move on.
When exams are close, add ECZ past papers to practise answering under time pressure.
Where the notes come from
Teachers and lecturers upload notes to share their teaching with learners across the country. Teachers who plan lessons on 25schools can also publish learners' notes that come with their lesson plans. If you teach, you can share your own notes too.
