A test with a wrong answer key, an off-syllabus question or a typo in the instructions undermines learners’ confidence and your school’s results. With assessment approval switched on, every test your teachers prepare on 25schools comes to you before learners see it.
How it works
- In your school settings, turn on approval for assessments.
- When a teacher publishes a test, it is submitted to you instead of going live.
- Open the approvals list and review the questions and answers.
- Approve it, and it opens to learners as planned, or send it back to the teacher to revise.
What you can check
- Questions and marks, section by section.
- Correct answers for questions that mark themselves.
- Timing and settings: when it opens, how long it runs and what learners see afterwards.
Why schools use it
Approval gives you quality control without adding meetings or paperwork. Mistakes are caught before learners meet them, assessments stay consistent across classes taking the same subject, and new teachers get feedback on their tests from someone experienced.
Turn it off whenever you don’t need it. Teachers’ tests then go live as soon as they publish them.
