Turn any past paper into an online test

Upload a past paper as a PDF, Word file or photos. 25schools reads the questions, you check them, and your class takes it online.

You already have good test papers: past papers, last year’s mid-term, a test from a colleague. Typing them into an online form question by question is what stops most teachers from using them online. On 25schools you upload the paper, and the questions are read out of it for you.

How it works

  1. Upload. A PDF (a scanned one is fine), a Word .docx file, or photos of the pages.
  2. Check. Review the questions and answers it found and fix anything you want. Nothing reaches learners yet.
  3. Open it. Give it to your class now, schedule it for later, or set it as homework.

A full paper usually takes between one and five minutes to read.

What comes across

  • The questions and their numbering, including sub-questions.
  • Answers, where the paper or its marking key includes them.
  • Diagrams and figures from PDF pages, attached to the questions they belong to.

Why it helps

Your best test material stops sitting in a drawer. Learners get to practise with real exam questions on their phones, multiple choice and true/false questions mark themselves, and you get a results report without carrying a stack of scripts home.

It is a quick way to give your class ECZ past papers as timed online practice before the exam.

What you need

Your school needs its subjects and classes set up first, so the test reaches the right learners. Importing papers is part of the paid teacher plans; see the plans page.

After the test, mark the written answers online and see the results in your class analytics. Need a new paper instead? Prepare a mock exam or end-of-term test.

Yes. Scanned PDFs and clear photos of the pages both work.

Will learners see it straight away?
