Want the whole class awake and answering at the end of a long topic? Run a live quiz. With the 25schools app you create a quiz room in a minute, learners join with a PIN on their phones, and everyone answers the same question against the clock.
How to run one
- Create a room. In the app, go to Live Quiz and tap Host Quiz. Choose the subject, grade, number of questions and time per question.
- Share the PIN. You get a 6-character PIN to write on the board, or invite learners by name so they get a notification.
- Approve and start. Learners appear in the waiting room; approve them and start.
- Review results. At the end you see the full leaderboard, with scores and correct answers.
Your questions or ours
Questions can come from your school’s published assessments, or you can write your own multiple choice and true/false questions. Your own questions are saved to your personal question bank for next time.
Why teachers use it
- Every learner answers, not just the confident ones with their hands up.
- Marking is automatic, and results are instant.
- You see straight away which questions the class missed.
- It is fun, and revision that is fun gets done.
Host analytics show how many quizzes you have run, which subjects are most popular and how learners do over time.
Beyond your class
After the lesson, learners can keep going with one-on-one challenges and tournaments. For graded work, use online tests instead. Read the full guide on the live quiz page.
